This is a sexy quality mix spanning 3 decades or more of popular underground anthems - starting with Donna Summer's - I Feel Love in the best mix is a great start, Side B delivers two fine vintage Detroit anthems, that are as good as it gets. So this first LP is the dogs bollocks anyway. LP 2 is a more challenging affair for the average Dance / Techno fan. The trax by Primal Scream and The Groundhogs are good, but not everybodies cup of tea I guess, the highlight on this side is The Doves M52 Song, acoustic guitar, vocals and the noise of a busy street with lots of cars has that certain magic, you don't find often. Thanks for putting that on this Collection! Missy Elliot's unique Supa Dup Fly The Rain brightens the mood up just fine with the sexy vocals and big bass line. I Luv that song and can't get enough of it..Followed by Cat Stevens electro track Was Dog a doughnut? is a funny contrast but makes sense with Giorgio & TallA's 2XLC's E=MC2 . Just a killer Trance anthem i didn't know before. Very diverse stuff make up a very good side D. Side E is proof that old Hippies had taste in music. Captain Beefheart's ruff voice makes a fine contrast to the elegant flowing Roxy Music anthem In Every Dream Home a Heartache, Can's Mushroom from their fantastic TAGO MAGO double album is a track I would have put on a collecetion myself, if asked to come up with something like Back To Mine....The beats and rhymes just fit perfectly with both Rock and Electronics. The masochistic ode to Venus In furs by Velvet Underground is a fine contrast to Techno's most anthemic tune ever Energy Flash, that ends this heavy ride on a euphoric note. The mastering is very good and if you play this on a real good HiFi set you will be astonished how good it sounds.. chances are not everyone likes everything, but every tune is worthy of checking it out and I had a ball playing this set last night once more after a good while...
