Love the original on this. Killer sax moves which i've found are very similar to this Lil Louis track in certain parts.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EVbmP3jfwpI (compare 5:11 to 4:20 in the believers track).Sounds like an intentional homage to me.

i search for many years a bootleg that cuts up sax loop from Who dares..with repeated "flowers and the bees, birds in tha trees.." repeated vocal, anyone kno it? from 93-94..

I think this is the one you are after: https://www.discogs.com/Lil-Louis-The-World-Club-Lonely/release/485036 It is about the B-side, Birds & Trees (Remix), currently no audio to be found on Youtube though...

Roy Davis Jr. genius. Massive. Find a set where Derrick May works this and understand the rhetorical question.

Yes!! This is a classic house record. If you're a true house head & you don't own this, you should be ashamed of yourself. The Original Mix is the one to listen to. It's very jazzy, deep, & has a drum kick hard enough to rock any warehouse! (^_^ )

Definitely a mid 90s classic - this is perhaps THE tune that made me understand what "house" was about. I can still recall dancing to this as it was being played by Doc Martin at Twilo a bit after 6am one Saturday morning during the summer of '96, and it was one of those internalized "cosmic moments" in which everything was alright, even if just for a few fleeting moments.
