Probably one of the best surf, hot rod/dragster exploito LP's that cameout in the early to mid 60's. The Crown label out of Los Angeles, Ca.was one of the pioneering discount record manufacturers of the 50'sand 60's. All of their releases were super low budget and poor qualitypressings, most of which totally suck. This release was an exception.Recorded by uncredited musicians and released under the groupname The Blasters, the contents of this recording are musicallyquite good. almost all the tracks are decent, nothing amazing mindyou but enjoyable none the less. I wouldn't be surprised to find outthat some well known (or would become) artists played on this. Theguitar work in particular really stands out. definitely worth grabbingthis if you can find one that isn't beat to hell for relatively cheap.
