Marr
Butterfly is an excellent example of the typical Italo-Disco sound from Disco Magic during the 1983-84 season. This is also one of the few Italo songs that rarely incorporates the sound of the Mellotron. The song is inspired by the aria A bel di vedremo from the opera Madama Butterfly by Giacomo Puccini. The voice is perfect, and even if it is not officially confirmed yet, it seems to me that's the Elio Messina's voice. At least, it's very similar. If you like this record, then you do not have to miss The Control Band - Susanna (especially, the B side: Someday), made by the same team.

An absolutely seminal release every asian-themed Italo style fancier can't skip over. The wonderful blend of soft vocals and far-east musical sounds produces the right vibe for soothing all our tensions and enjoying Tokyo Dreams in one's heart. A pure delight.
