Fog
Last week some capitalist paid more than 4,000 dollar on eBay for an original copy on the private R&L records label. To each his own musical taste, but I rate it not higher than 3,5/5. First off is a monster jazz funk jam in a mid-tempo groove with sax, piano, bass, more sax, more piano and also flute solos. Absolutely great music, except for the flute parts. I really don't like flute players. I was kind of disappointed with the rest (record 2). Together Again and Blue Robe is more jazz-inspired, but I didn't feel the rhythm of the drums and bass. To me, jazz is almost all about the rhythm. This was a bit too fast and too 'David Lynch-esque' if you know what I mean. Next is a vocal jazz ballad, a 30s/swing tune and Third Bosinova is yes, Brazilian. All not bad, but nothing essential. Finally we have some funk(rock) with slapping bass sounds like Larry Graham but then there's that flute again. Damn!

Nuadador
There are some albums I like more and more after each playing but this has gotten worse. Even the title track is boring. It goes on and on and on and on zzzzzzz...
