Looking at this release in 2017, the only track worth mentioning here is the Mark Broom remix. the first commentor is actually correct in that this remix package is packed to the brim with talented names but not so much talented output. But the Mark Broom mix really stands out above the rest for its simplicity and playful energy. I have seen many a raver dancing like wild maniacs with the biggest smiles on their faces when this one comes on. It is a sound that you do not hear often if at all anymore and it is really a refreshingly happy track to play with tons of groove. Well worth the purchase just for this one track.

I bought this recently for the Mark Broom and Gaetano Parisio remixes.SOLID.

Above comments are a little misleading. Mark Broom's rework is probably the most surprising, and probably the one to chase. Though Broom is known for a particularly aggressive strain of British techno, he reverts Advent's relentlessly fast pace to a slower, funkier one, and overlays a simple but enticing layer of synths for an all-around sexy track. Portugal's WLA Garcia puts forth a darker, colder version of the Advent original, and Parisio's flavor is on par. This is a quality compilation with an assembly of fine producers--well worth the time and money.

Adam Beyer, Rino Cerrone, Gaetano Parisio, Mark Broom,...big names in the scene indeed. So this means that the expectations of this 2x12" were fairly high. The first track from Adam Beyer is a good pumping one (a bit funky to)with a nice break. The Mark Broom remix isn't funky, hard or pumping, it' s just boring techno (rate: 4/10). The same for the Player remix. WLa Garcia intentions were OK but the track is just to noisy and busy. On the the C and D side there are two good tracks: Gaetano Parisio gives a more italian touch to the B-track on KR 04. That's the only good track on the second record! My impression of this double pack? Money! They wanted to make money in a quick way. The original versions on Kombination Research are much, much better!!
