text on back cover says:
Chilam Balam, the Mayan text that includes the 13 Katun prophecies, hints that Kukulcan, the plumed serpent god, will return to establish a new world and diffuse Mayan wisdom among all humans who, after a period of purification, will begin a new era. The return of Kukulkan will translate into an era of raised consciousness and a great spiritual transformation. -Graciela Montoya, ¡Aqui! Milwaukee.

Juan Pablo Valle aka Epsilon Eridani is a Mexican musician who released early this year the "13.0.0.0.0:4 Ahau 3 Kankin"-album. A quite strange title for a concept dealing about the Mayan calendar. Epsilon Eridani is an ambient project, which for this album finds its musical inspiration in the most atmospheric and floating realms of the genre. Electronics and rhythmic invite the listener to join a sonic world of prosperity. A few vocals with heavy space-like effects on top are welcoming the listener on "World Of The Fourth sun". "Materialism" coming on accentuates the floating electro sensation of the music. The music of Epsilon Eridani takes some distance with the usual dark-electronics and other power-noise releases on X-Line, but this diversity on the label's roster is quite interesting. I enjoyed listening to this release, injecting a fresh breeze into the typical 'darker' ambient spheres. -www.side-line.com
