This oddly numbered release was the first output from Farout back in the day. I talked to Joe Davis directly as I was curious about it and he congratulated me on this rare find. Pontieo '92 is a completely different version of the later released single by DaLata. Deep house with no vocals, beautiful pianos, and a nice latin vibe. This was an underground classic in New York championed by C&C Music Factory at the Palladium. There is also a revamped version of this that came out on Z Recordings, Agora "Monteyo". Also of note, the next track on the same side is a remix of Crown Heights Affair "Say A Prayer".
