I believe one of the greatest outcomes of the new boom in vinyl in the 2010s is to see beloved '90s records getting reissued in the format. For Suede fans, this is simply an unbelievable package. All of the vinyls except the new album are heavyweight pressings with glossy inner sleeves, and the longer CD-length albums (Dog Man Star and Head Music) are suitably split into doubles. Sci-Fi Lullabies has always been a wonderful collection, if incomplete, and while it's nice to see it here (as a triple LP), I think they cut corners by not using the remastered B-side tracks, instead sticking to the original master from 1997... it sounds about the same as the CD. A "complete box" would have required a bonus disc for each of the albums and this only covers about half the territory, so die-hards will want the deluxe CD reissues as well. Still, if you love Suede and you love vinyl, this is absolutely worth tracking down.
