Notes

Recorded direct to stereo no overdubs.

This is the remastered version of Moksha's first cassette release in 1989. First pressing was limited to 100 numbered copies. Second pressing had a different catalogue number to distinguish it being: MOK001A.

Nagor
Apparently before his Ozric Tentacles days, Seaweed involved himself in this electronic music project, Moksha, and released two cassettes, Moksha in 1989 and Moksha 2 in 1991 (that's my understanding, but since those cassettes don't exactly grow on trees...). This limited edition 2-CD release apparently consists of both of these cassettes. This is more in the progressive electronic vein, rather than the space rock of the Ozrics. I get reminded of the likes of Tangerine Dream, Tim Blake, and even Jean Michel Jarre (mostly the rhythmic patterns), and I'm surprised anyone was doing anything like this in 1989-91, when groups like Radio Massacre International, Redshift, Free System Projekt, and the likes had yet to rear their faces and resurrect progressive electronic music in the 1990s. I only wished this stuff was more readily available, because this is some great eletronic music.
