the vinyl itself is very clean and I can't find anything wrong with the audio quality. however the packaging makes me very sad. the album cover is very very flimsy, giving this a cheap feel. Hopefully the 2016 remasters have better packaging; I will weigh this in in my future purchases.

I got my copy a couple of months ago and it sounds great! I have not found any noise or marks. Beautiful album

I just got this and I luckily have not experienced any issues with my copy. It sounds fantastic on both sides.

I've bought new copy and its dammaged from the beginning . On the second side there is a strange noise on the left channel.... its extremly annoying.. ;/

Yep, bought new sealed copy from my record store in France, and B side got some small cliks/noise every 3 seconds... For me it's most notable on the beginning and end of Codex and the intro of Give Up The Ghost, kinda ruining the intro :( Except that, A side sounds perfect great, Separator too!

Just received a copy from Amazon which has the same issue, left channel noise on side b most notable when listening to Give Up The Ghost and Separator. Did you return yours / have you had the same issue with other copies?

I opened my sealed copy and the vinyl had already many light marks and parallel scratches, and between the tracks and in the runout grooves it is crackling... does anyone have the same problem?

My copy is pretty bad and I bought it sealed as well. Affects it heavily, needle is jumping a lot so it is basically unlistenable.

Yes. Apparently the pressing is bad. I actually have bought several copies of the 12" vinyl and they are all like that some worse than others. It sounds like the audio is clipping. It's amazing that so many are effected and there is hardly anything about it on the web. Also the band have not acknowledged it. It was probably made cheaply in Eastern Europe, my PJ Harvey LP is like that. I'm still waiting for the special edition multipack. I hope it's not that craply made.

Yeah, mine's the same. There's a couple of small clicks but it still plays fine so I don't really mind. I wonder where they pressed it.

Haven't played my copy yet but it looks to ok to me. The label etiquette has been torn in side one and is spread partly on the runout tho. I've seen this happen quite a few times.
