The Strike Boys, for their fourth album, consider what it's like BEING IN A BOY GROUP, and waste no time getting to the electro with "Gimme Food" or the funk with "Barfing Barfly." As you can tell from the song title alone, these songs are more on the silly side lyrically. But with a house groove like "Paralyzed Part II," you don't really need lyrics. They bring in IAMX for the dark rock-hybrid of "Chemical Princess" or the more upbeat hybrid of "Heart On Fire." But its Earl Zinger who really brings a zing to the jazzy dub of "Loss Of The Badman." And the title track rounds out the album with a slow chug. While certainly not their best work, this album still has its moments.
