"Basically a country band consisting of six professional musicians whose only profession isn't music. They are college students, farmers, construction workers, designing engineer, and personnel supervisor for a large equipment company, etc. They each pay several different instruments, making it easy to sound like a big band. They have their own stage show called "The Wagon Wheel Opry." It is held at the 4-H Center Auditorium in Macomb, Illinois through the winter months. In the summer they are busy doing town festivals and concerts all over the mid-west. They've done many split shows with some of the biggest Nashville stars.
The group has been together for nearly five years. Though they have done back up work for other recording artists, this is the first one of their own. When the decision was made to record they wanted to do what was requested most on their shows. It was impossible to pick just two, so that's why this, their first, would have to be an album. So here it is, thirteen of their most requested songs. You will notice the variety of their selections, ranging from solid country, bluegrass, and religious. Their ability to do all types of songs is the reason they are considered one of the best in their area. It is truly hoped you enjoy listening to them as much as they enjoy performing for you."
