You can physically see the warping on the record. It also feels... almost unnatural to hold. The edges are super thick yet the inside wax is paper thin. Surface noise drowns out even at moderate volume, and inner groove distortion is dreadful. Poor design also plays a factor as too many songs are cramped on each side, affecting sound quality.Digital download is also a joke at 128kbps MP3.This is one of the worst pressings/releases I've owned, which is a shame because I think the album itself is great. Got it refunded.

Quite a shame, I much prefer the original artwork. That aside, this record is fantastic.

Cole was actually sued for the original artwork by the artist that drew it, I chatted with Cole at an acoustic show about. One of the only ways the label could repress the record was if they change the cover.

My copy sounds pretty bad. Lots of surface noise and distortion even after a clean. I heard the original suffers from similar problems. A shame because it's great music.

Mine too :-/At least 10 words must be entered. Please enter at least 7 more.

Same here, new copy but at times it's basically unlistenable (distortion on A7 / Earthboy is horrible). Buyer beware.

Love the new artwork. They had like legal issues or something with the original artwork. If you go on iTunes or Amazon the artwork had been updated with this version. There's nothing new or no bonus tracks. But the vinyl is back in print & isnt super rare anymore. The old 2012 & other reissues are super rare & DIIV has told there fans to keep those old versions looking new. I personally think the only old version that is actually rare is the Blue Pressed Version. The other ones are just with the old artwork. In my opinion the old artwork freaked me out & the new artwork is just more there style. I really wish they would do a reissue with a blue vinyl again. The cassette version has slight different artwork but it's cool tho.

In case anyone's wondering, this repress sounds great from start to finish - my copy is clean & quiet. If you're a DIIV fan, support the artist & their label by buying this edition. Nowadays the pressing plates don't get overused like they did back in the day, so if sound quality is your concern, this edition won't disappoint. Sellers are asking 3-7x the list price for an original pressing w/ the OOP artwork.

JUST DO IT
Sounds perfect, that is for sure.. and looks great also ! there is hype sticker on the shrink, that is missing from discogs pictures..
