1995 was a pivotal stage of the golden era of Drum 'n' Bass and Jungle and arguably the best one, with Timeless - which most consider to be the best drum 'n' bass / jungle album of all time and other classics like Black Secret Technology by Gerald and Omni Trio's Deepest Cut Vol.1. But no one ever really mentions this album. I consider it to be the best drum 'n' bass / jungle album of all time and yet it feels like for 22 years it's been dug underneath. It is very disappointing this never got the success that any of the albums I mentioned earlier received. Timeless lulls you smoothly into a spiritual being and takes you round your life and the softer tunes to accompany you on the way, cleaning your soul with a nice finish. The Self Evident Truth of an Intuitive Mind starts off, immediately sinking you into the abyss you fear and leaves you alone. Truly alone, no lights, no colours. Each track marks a new level of insanity that you reach in this hellhole, fear and loneliness edging closer and closer towards your spine until the final composition, Amber when it all comes out at once. Your emotions grow larger and larger and your mind can't keep up. Everything leaks out like a black ooze. Once everything is gone, a small melody escapes, with cheers following. You survived.This album is worth so much more than what it goes for. I found this in an old antique shop many years ago and I was blown away. The CD wont get you for more than 4 or 5 quid and if you really don't think it's worth that it is up on his bandcamp for around 80p (you can choose to give him more if you want to) All it needs is an hour, a pitch black setting and a nice pair of headphones and let your mind run away from you.

So far ahead of its time. A truly great album and a must for all fans of electronic music.

Add this to the list of groundbreaking jungle records of all time! The production standards on this one are phenominal to say the least and the tracks work just as well in your headphones as the dancefloor. A local DJ played this entire album during one of his sets when it came out and we lapped up every last note, blissfully unaware. I was most impressed when I found out ALL those great tracks were one one album! Those were the days...
