My copy also came with a 3'' x 2'' leather patch, etched with a figure, same as on the front of the leather bag edition. NWW and Psilotripitaka were also etched along with stitching holes. I've scanned and added it

I see that someone added a warning on this about discs being prone to "disc rot". Mine have always had a slight bronze look to them, even when new. Just played them yesterday (16 March 2014) and mine are still fine. Unique things about this CD set...1. Only way to get these discs without any tampering by Steve. These are authentic to the original LP's. At least one of the single discs that came out a year or so later was different (cannot remember which). 2. Merzbild Schwet has the front and back covers switched. This was a printer error.3. pages 2,3,4 of the insert to "Ladies Home Tickler" have grey paper background, whereas on the later version those pages were white (possibly also a printer error).BTW - the plan was to issue 1000 CD sets and 1000 LP sets, however only 500 of each (plus the additional 2 x 25 copy bondage bag versions) were ever pressed.

I concur with first para - have just purchased a copy of Psilotripitaka through discogs, and although every disc is very bronzed, the playing sides of the discs have obviously been very well cared for, virtually as-new, and I was able to get a flawless EAC rip from each. I wonder if the issue with PDO discs flaking has more to do with issues of sun exposure, usage in rougher environments like in cars, for instance (just completely hypothesising with that last sentence, would be interested to hear from anyone with more technical knowledge about the composition of these early PDO discs).Very interested in point 1 above about these being the only versions faithful to the original LPs - I'll have to dig out the mp3 copies I have of these albums (which I'm fairly sure I made from someone's individual CD copies) and see if I can spot the differences. Just been reading the online version of that interview with SS from Audion 28, where he admits how much he loves to tinker with mixes - " I can't help but fiddle with tapes that have been hanging around for a while"...
