Hands down one of the best ram releases ever crafted. No Reality is a distorted anthem that will destroy any speaker that crosses it's path. It's twisted warping bassline and life could drums is the kind of stuff Frankenstein hears when being electrocuted. Scanners is more of a sci-fi sampling tune with its "Scanning for life forms" sample from Event Horizon. Still both tracks are killers.

The beginning of the end. Everything that ended with Pendulum can be heard on this record. Well this and that Moving Fusion tune before it. Sounded great at the time and still does but it's sad when you know where it all ends up.

A key late-'90s Ram track, and actually one of the best-mixed D&B tracks of all time. If you listen to other tracks by comparison, from any era, you'll notice how very few get the balance as right as Ram Trilogy did here. The impact of the drop on "No Reality" is something every drum & bass producer tries to achieve, but very few manage. The intro, while short, is a true lesson in how to open up a D&B track in an engaging way. The short, obscure Sci-Fi sample is also very much of the D&B production blueprint, mastered and developed by Ram Trilogy. The synthesis experimentation in this track shows how Andy C, Ant Miles and/or Shimon would sit around for hours playing with hardware synthesisers to get the best sounds; the bridge of this track, for example, features some nice "live performance" on the knobs. This really is sex to the ears of a drum & bass fanatic, and a precursor to the untouchable anthem that is "Titan" by Ram Trilogy two years later.
