These were a beat band from Baden who debuted at the Star Club in 1965. Their main influences were The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. You can hear quite a lot of Rolling Stones in "Born To Die" except that Keith Richards never played such freaky guitar to my knowledge. Still quite beat and very dated for 1971, I would dispute all the tags currently added here (especially Krautrock - way too much tagging of anything German as Krautrock here on Discogs) as it's basically a pop record. Not a bad pop record (okay, some proggy moves on the much better B-side sounding somewhat like British bands like Andromeda, Arcadium, Atomic Rooster, et al). But nothing more. Anyway, don't take my word for it, have a listen to the linked YouTube samples.
