Armageddon (We H-8 Garage Mix) is the BEST mix of this title, by a very, very long way, and the stand out track on this release and really should've been pressed on its own 12" or at least on one whole side. Altern 8's best 1992 track in my opinion and that's including all the other releases by Altern 8's/Nexus 21's/Mark Archer's/DJ Nex's less well known possibly more forward thinking guises from the same year. Sounds more 1991 anyway, both in terms of BPM and style. Perhaps that's why I so predictably and unfashionably prefer it.

Exactly mate. I said similar on the white label: Hypnotic St-8.Such a fucking track. The Radi-8 mix is great, but this We H-8 Garage Mix, my god it's another level.Raw breaks over nasty stabs with plenty of scorching acid, what's not to like!Nice one.

The video for Hypnotic St-8 was shot by Delta Video and featured footage from Altern 8's PA at Mythology.

Dreladred
Another one of my favorite rave classics from the 90's. Pick it up because it has a tendency to make you wanna move your booty. ;)

Zargelynd
always thought this was the best track altern 8 put out. full on mask hysteria is a hell of an album but this track stands out for me.

Hypnptic St-8 sampled themselves on the track "Self Hypnosis" by Nexus 21, which was their own alter ego and first incarnation. Altern-8 had a habit of sampling other Network tracks - "Re-indulge" on the flip of "Activ-8" was another one, nicking the main piano line from Neil Howard's "Indulge".
