"Taking inspiration from the traditional order of krautrock and 70’s progressive, Seven that Spells takes on classic rock groove fundamentals and turns them upside down, forcing their distorted creation into a much more abrasive direction. Additionally taking cues from acts like Acid Mothers Temple, Seven that Spells fuses a grand range of psych rock, jazz, noise, and progressive elements into a suffocating and chaotic vision. Grooves linger deep in the foreground, resonating briefly to allow Niko’s guitar leads to take center stage. At times, all of the sorted textures and sounds begin to sound like a garage band was kicked from their musical lessons and decided to get stoned and make any random sound possible.
