Notes

A Christmas themed Various Artists LP on the little known Benroy Record. Several of the tracks on here are in a rather easy listening gospel style and not what you'd expect from calypso.

Despite the name, this only features four tracks by Lord Melody, the rest are by other artists.

Funky New Year is Melody's first song in the Soca style.

Church Bells is a recut of the GEMS classic Happy Holiday. Melody sings this version himself - on the original, he sang it along with The Four Lords. Al Seales is not credited with co-writing the song, for some reason.

Female singers provide the lead vocals on Peace To Men On Earth and Holy Land, Melody's involvement is limited to the backing vocals.
