Contrary to @asafiko, I thought this pressing sounded really good. That said, I haven't heard the FLAC files, so perhaps they do sound even better. If that's the case, then I really look forward to future releases from this group. Sounds aside, I ended up having to buy this twice (once through Amazon and once direct from the group's web site) and both times I received a warped LP. Appears that there may be QA issues at this particular pressing plant. That said, they played fine so no huge complaints there.As for the music, this is some fresh funk. Love it. They don't seem to take the compositions too seriously, but definitely take their musicianship seriously. Tight sounding group. Only beef is that this album is too short! Looking forward to future releases!
