This album was recorded in 1957 while the orchestra was performing at the famous Club Tropicana Del Hotel Club De Pesca in the well-know and popular tropical paradise of Acapulco, Mexico. For many seasons Ismael Diaz and his orchestra have delighted the numerous tourists, both national and international, who have visited the famous beach resorts in Acapulco, and especially those visitors who have spent their "Honeymoon In Acapulco".

A 1961 Forum reissue of F/SF-9036 - Honeymoon in Acapulco - Ismael Diaz (Tico LP-1044) originally released in '57. The Forum budget label reissued records from 1960-65.
