The version of 'Tyger Bay' on this album is by Tygers Of Pan Tang, I have this and the Tygers 'Spellbound' album and listening to the tracks back to back, it's the same song by the same band.

The missing bit.."Gary Moore does not play on this track! On the innersleeve to Tygers’ album - “SPELLBOUND” MCAMCF 3104 - is noted a “Thank you Gary M” under this song. According to an interview with John Sykes, itwas an error that the thank you ended under this particular song, because it was meant in general, as GaryMoore had loaned him some equipment. The solo on “Tyger Bay” is played by Robb Weir, again accordingto John Sykes. As Tygers and GM had the same manager, and as Gary Moore did play live with them, itwould seem natural if he had helped them out. But he didn’t.The track even appeared on a Japanese compilation album released in Nov. 1981 (“Gary Moore” MCAVIM-4079)."

I believe Gary Moore played on this song as secret/un-credited guest.
