I believe the higher pitch was done intentionally, at -8 it plays at the original tempo. I do agree that you won't notice any discernible loss of quality, after all, some people play(ed) DnB pressed at 45rpm on 33rpm for a more breaks sound. This was a DJ repress so if you don't have a pitch adjustable turntable you kinda s.o.l on it I'm afraid. Can't believe that this came out eight years ago though...

FailCrew
i think someone invented something called "pitch control" to take care of that!

Galanjov
dont be a twat like the other one who said you could use the pitch control of the turntables to put it to the right tempo..... the sound quality goes down when you do that... and the pitch too...

Pumpit
This is like a faulty copy lol the side intitled "Until the night is morning" is supposed to be 155BPM but it's recorded as 165BPM! i was so disapointed, i shoulda tried harder to look for the original i suppose, oh well...

Error parents
Ok then mate i'll look for it and then contact ya on your username :P

Goltizuru
If you're unhappy with your copy you could always sell it to me! :D

Unnis
Dont be daft... when u slow down a record the song's high frequency and pitche goes down, hence "losing the sound quality" which it was originally recorded at in the first place ;)

Danskyleyn
"Yeah, slow it down to the right speed and lose quality, frequency and have a lower pitched sounding record, that's smart ;P"Vinyl is an analog format. You don't lose sound quality. It isn't an mp3 lmao

Alexandra
yeah i think "All you wanted" hasnt been changed because it's a more modern track so it's bound to be about 160bpm

Gaxaisvem
what about the flip side? is that still the original tempo or...?

Soustil
yes innit lol

Ausstan
It's been remastered - so getting an original copy would make no real difference :)

Yndanol
Yeah, slow it down to the right speed and lose quality, frequency and have a lower pitched sounding record, that's smart ;P

Quemal
If only turntables had something that could change the speed of a record ;p
