Track 1. Very Industrial and oddly a little punkt ghetto. Repetition and even some hints at electro vibes fill out the changes and the bridge. I think this track would have benefitted from Detinger rapping over it. I for sure was nodding my head up and down to the suto / proto future hip hip beats. Track 2. Starts out a little acidity, with a solid kick. I am talking a solid 4 am club kick with the bpm more chill then gabber. It is very repetitive, but I am sure the producers had fun playing this one back with chillums burning brightly in their hands. Half way through the track they bring in a sampled vocal that harkens to early break dance California eclectro (circa 1983)Track 3. The second side of the record starts out a bit stronger with track 3. It's repetition is improved by the melodic vibe and choice of sounds. Easy to listen to, but not taking as many chances. Track 4. By far, the best track on the record. subtle beats, vocoder action and voodoo cyber percussions taking the listen for a really nice journey. It is to be also mentioned that the Vocoder voice sample is nicely used and not overplayed. This is a very nice track and makes the entire record worth the price of admission. Over all, this EP is a unique show of inspiration and potentially getting to know ones hardware. The mastering is solid, and has a nice mid range and low end union. The high end is defined and not to sharp or harsh.
