The original recordings dating from 1967 and 1968 are supplemented by a special bonus treat in the form of the first-ever release of 2007 concert recordings of the re-formed Matadors line-up.The booklet contains numerous photographs, as well as Aleš Opekar’s biographical notes and Jan F. Obermayer’s reminiscences elucidating the background to the recorded songs. This CD release contains their Single and EP from 1967 and their only LP from 1968 - all mostly with English lyrics. The recordings were carefully remastered so that this edition offers their music in a surprisingly good sound quality.The Matadors also released one single and one EP in 1966 and three more tracks on the compilation “Night Club ’67“ which are not part of this CD.
