This particular release is "The Trident Demos" as "The Trident Mixes" is a completely separate release. Having owned "Mixes" for decades, I just received my order of "Demos 1969" and am as thrilled with this vinyl as I was when I paid nearly double the money for "Mixes" in 1981! All of these tracks focus on the "Mick Taylor" era (1969-1974) and, according to rumor and history, several songs on this massive 2 LP compilation were not credited to Taylor during his tenure with the band. However, the most intriguing quality about this material is that the majority of it remains unreleased on ANY commercially available recording, other than Rolling Stones "unofficial" albums like "The Trident Mixes", not to mention the dozens of bootlegs available on Discogs.Insofar as any major differences between "The Trident Mixes" and "The Trident Demos", even a die-hard fan of The Rolling Stones would be hard-pressed to find any sans the slightly better Stereo Master Sound Board Audio Quality of "The Trident Mixes" as well as a few tracks being omitted from each bootleg. Yet, most die-hard fans will probably have BOTH of these vinyls in their collection, as the two rank amongst the Greatest Unreleased Work from the late 1960s through 1973 which can still be found on vinyl, albeit for a price. My recommendation is to BUY these vinyls from Discogs, as I've seen several copies of this double album sell on eBay for well over $125.00 USD, with the "Mixes" fetching even more. Since eBay has now allowed "private pressings" to be listed on their site—no doubt a reaction to Discogs allowing the sale of these recordings for many years, great deals do abound. Take advantage of them while you can!
