This is the album Stone Temple Pilots put out between their 3rd and 4th albums. Their lead singer had gone into rehab for awhile and since they had a different lead singer for this album they felt the need to use a different band name. This album was accompanied by the usual promotion and pre-release music video you'd expect from a STP release, however the album tanked hard. It's hard to find now just because almost no one wants it.Oddly decades later everyone seems to be remembering a solo album their lead singer put out during this gap between the 3rd and 4th albums instead of the Talk Show album. I never heard of that album (Scott Weiland - 12 Bar Blues) until 2010 or so but everyone but me seems to have always known about it. I even see it in physical stores frequently despite it having no label push back in the day and Talk Show having the usual promotion at the time (it didn't get a second music video though). Is this one of those Berenstain Bears things?
