Scott cortez began marrying 'kosmische' analog drum beats with guitar wash in 1996.
in 1997 scott met up with michael anderson9drekka) and began talking about combining drum and bass with noise gaze guitar.

first performance of this work was in chicago at the dome room 1997, backing beats on DAT tape with scott cortez layering guitar wash loops, micheal anderson doing guitar noise loops, and carrie petersen on vocals. the performance was not recorded.

in 1998, scott took the beats and recorded his guitar drift parts to 4 track tape, years later in 2001 vocals were finally added by stella tran. a small run of cdrs were burned for a small tour in philadelphia and pittsburgh, this is the music from that cdr.
