Admittedly I am a fan of Roisin Murphy, but for me this tracks immediately stood out from some of the more obvious releases coming through at the moment. It's predominantly an out & out houser but works well across the various mixes- the winner for me being Danny Howells & Mat Playford Mix by a good margin. The lyrics raise it above standard fare and gives me the impression Roisin was definitely involved in the writing as it has the depth I've come to expect from her: 'As the hunter is hunted down; she slays her enemies on sacred ground; the bloody battles have left their scars; yet she will fight the good fight though it breaks her heart'. I'm glad I bought it! I'm disappointed Paul_Goodwin felt it was only worth a 1/5. There's a hell of a lot of 1 pointers out there, but this definitely isn't one of them.
