For sometime Vernon really was "Nobody's Child". Too pure and straight for the public was the answer to hid request for a record deal. The strange thing was the public never thought so. He cut and released an album of Hank Williams great hits and the public couldn't wait to grab it and enjoy his authentic sounds. This second album with tracks such as: Woman, Maggie The Baby Is Crying, I'll Forgive You For The Last Time, There's A Better Place, Mommy Do You Think I'll Go To Heaven, will change him from "NObody's Child" to Everybody's Favourite singer of great country, sung as it is meant to be sung.
