There is nothing particularly special about this album. There is nice singing, and the music is cool, but the real jems on this album is the Soul Train Themes(beauitifully crafted by Bobby Martin). I guess I kinda understand why this album was born, Don Cornelius was some-what of a genius. Why just have a T.V. show when you can have a record lable, and a group. Now the truth is, I'm glad that he gave the idea up until he found O'Bryan, but by then, he understood what he was doing. With all that being said, even though not groundbreaking, this album is ok....
