Track 1 Inspired by friends and places of Miles City, Montana.

Track 2 An Appalachian carol of the late eighteen hundreds. Collected by the eminent folklorist John Jacob Niles.

Track 3 Inspired by an arrangement by guitarist David Qualey, from his album "Guitar Solo", on Telefunken Records, 6.23413 (German Import).

Track 4 Inspired by Vince Guaraldi. (1928-1976)

Track 5 A nineteenth century Ukrainian carol. This version was inspired by the Billings, Montana winters.

Track 8: Part Three: Minstrels
Minstrels was inspired by St. Basil's Hymn, a traditional Greek Children's New Year's carol based upon a rendition by Malcolm Dalgish, from his album "Thunderhead", on Flying Fish Records, (FF-266).

Track 9 Composed circa 1699, the Kanon may have originated as a solo pipe organ piece.

Track 10 An eighteenth century English carol, based upon an earlier French carol. The middle section was partly influenced by the great modern composer Steve Reich.

Track 11 Composed in 1951 by jazz trumpeter Alfred S. Burt (1921 - 1954). Some Children See Him was one of fifteen carols written as gifts for friends. The piece was originally a song with lyrics by Wilha Hutson expressing the unconditional love present in children.

Track 12 Inspired by the composed Dominic Frontiere's soundtracks for the first year of the television series "The Outer Limits" from 1962-1963.

Track 13 This somg was originally a choral piece from the beautiful score of the 1972 film "The Last Valley".

Track 14 Composed in 1949, inspired by the birth of his daughter.

Recorded in September and October of 1982.
