That's interesting but rather strange for two reasons; i) Their output is so diverse that no one album needs to, or can be singled out from the rest and ii) Given that the main men, Balance and Christopherson have been dead for a couple of years I wonder who exactly made the decision? If you have the answer nejakdivne I'd be interested in your reply.

Would have been better to keep it as just Time Machines and have a sticker on the outer plastic indicating it's by members of Coil.

The authors decided that, period. Simple as that. According to you it's ok to change that now that they cannot do anything about it? You're surely joking, aren't you?The fact that label is calling it Coil for marketing purposes is clear and understandable in a way.

This album was released in 1998, over six years before John passed away in 2004 and 12 years before Peter passed away in 2010. Time Machines was one of a handful of aliases Coil used in the '90s to help differentiate musical projects. Dais has been marketing this as a Coil release but the album has always been credited to the alias Time Machines.

time Machines is a wonderful album but the artist is Coil, not Time Machines - that is simply the title of the album.

We all know that. But Coil have released it under Time Machines alias for a purpose. They intended it to differentiate from the rest of their output.
