wow, i have been a jam fan over here in new york since 1979/1980 now and though i have some nice stuff like japan cd box sets and or shm cardboard sleeve lp replicas on cd as well as all the jam records as original japan issues from way back i must say THIS 3 LP EDITION IS BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you must get this if you are a jam fan, i think this is very limited as i do not see to many for sale but this comes as a very thick gatefold sleeve with fantastic photo inner sleeves for the 3 records and some vintage photos and all 3 lps are very deep colored vinyl done the right way not the cheap way, i can certainly see the love that was put into this release, i love the jam from 77 right up to 1982. they spearheaded the mod revival in the uk with such great bands in 79/80 like mertan parkas, the lambrettas, sema 4, the vapors, small hours, the circles, and so so many others sadly the brief scene only lasted but a couple of years with punk, post punk, new wave and the nwobhm storming the uk but it was the JAM who brought 1965 back to the uk for a couple of years way back then, anyway THIS 3 RECORD SET IS FREAKIN BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this belongs in any jam fans collection so i would act quick as these seem to be going fast, i also liked the young idea film and footage as well, i think im the only yank over here who loves these guys so much so i am very pleased i was able to get this 3 lp set at a good price.

Make sure if you are ordering this album that it is the limited triple coloured vinyl as I believe that some of the early sellers are selling the Black vinyl version. Plus it is still available on the exhibition website for £40 http://www.nicetimeinc.co.uk/shop/the-jam-about-the-young-idea-the-very-best-of-12-vinyl
