The Spirit of Life Ensemble isa group of multi-faceted artist/musicians who have made numerous contributions to liberation struggles and progressive causes...for human rights, self-determination, justice, equality and world peace.
Over the years the Ensemble has put together several varying performing units that featured some of the finest "unsung heroes" of contemporary creative music. In addition, they coordinated a cultural center and are artists-in-residence at the Cultural Arts Center-Miller Branch Library the Jersey City Public Library, located in the predominantly African-American oppressed community of Jersey City, NJ/U.S.A. They have received many awards for their performing arts and community services.
