At the begin i could hear many crackle, not big but yes i was disappointed. Then after a good wash and some listening, so the stylus polished the groove walls, the sound improved much. I would recommend this pressing. Bass is huge and records almost perfect flat

Rageseeker
interesting to read so many not very good reviews, my mother bought me this for christmas and I've listened to it this morning and my copy sounds fairly good. Not amazing by any means and there was some crackle on side C (the blue vinyl) but nothing major.

Uris
I am looking for the blue disk Biophilia ‎( Album, 320) One Little Indian.Won't you please, help me ?Best regards

Perius
Not a really good pressing here, I will not recommend to buy this pressing, blue vinyl full of cracks even after cleaning

Manesenci
i feel really lucky because my record doesn't crackle or skip anywhere on the disc. The packaging its self is quite beautiful too i personally would recommend getting this.

Kagrel
hey the volta colour vinyl was DMM - is this? Ive seen it advertised as such .... the bio black vinly sounds AWFUL!

Wizer
My favorite moment on the album (Sacrifice at 3:06) SKIPS!!! Brand new record being played on a brand new turntable and it skips!!! A brand new $32 record should not skip!!!!!!!!

Tiv
We need a DMM release of Biophilia!!! And Vulnicura!!

Foiuost
No matter what i do.. the crackling noise on the blue disc wont disappear.. anyone elses suffer from this?i probably wouldnt be so bothered if my favorite track 'Hollow', also one of the quieter tracks of the album, wasnt on the blue vinyl making it even more noticeable

Dainris
Yep, I had exactly the same problem, and I've seen people on Reddit complaining about it too. Is the black vinyl the same?

Grarana
Mine has a pressing fault on the orange disc..a couple of pits/bumps in the vinyl..

Runeterror
This has the same slightly odd sound as all the other Biophilia releases. As I argued on the page for the original UK vinyl - this is cut from the same stampers - I don't think it's anything to do with the vinyl master. As I said there, it sounds quite low on treble and strangely lacking in sparkle for such a delicate, intricate album. But I own the CD of this and it suffers from the same problem. There's an interesting interview with Mandy Parnell at Sound on Sound - http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/jan12/articles/biophilia.htm - where she discusses how she remastered the album a couple of times until Bjork was happy, which did involve fleshing out the mid-spectrum and perhaps limiting the top and bottom ends slightly. I can only guess what we're hearing is exactly what Bjork wanted the record to sound like ('dirt, muscles, oxygen and stuff' as she writes in the manual edition).

Tamesya
Both my discs are awful. Lots of surface noise. Clicks and pops. I noticed small particles of black vinyl on the surface of the coloured vinyl. These were actually stuck to the grooves and wiped off leaving marks on the record. Really bad quality pressing.

Mr.Bean
does your blue disc suffer from alot of surface noise?
