Subtle alchemy which making reference sometimes to the 90s IDM, presented in a format that reflects the very personal vision of this artist but which can be confusing for the less ears warned. His style is characterized by deconstructed rhythmic signatures like the breakcore but yet catchy, comparable to the groove and setbacks that we can find especially in Motown, Stax's productions and its numerous derivatives. From a melodic point of view, we can easily recognize the influence of the minimal scene by the structure of phrased and how the counterpoint is organised but which skillfully blending different styles of music by the uses of hip hop vocals, funky guitar riffs and analog synthetisers. The dominance of this EP is the permanent contrast between the modern, urban and technological composition with some "baroque" overtones arrangements and both tribal, giving the ensemble a strong feeling of augmented reality.

Excellent ! Awesome Beats, unexpected & wonderful melodies, Since Aphex Twin, this is the first time that i'm excited by this kind of music. We need more stuff like that !

MelotOnine is definitely a really fine tracksource for the worlds electro break circuit, beautiful melodies, unique way to use voice (samples) and stylish urban beats. Really looking forward to the next, this guy has the groove ! Brillant Crew by the way.

I decided to listen to this release after it appeared on ominim records, the label that releases yimino music...an artist I am interested in.Immediately I was able to see similarities in the music with theirs. The chopped up sampling and stuttering beats are very congruent with the labels other releases.Music Automatiks music often hints at some wonderful melody and a unique style but I can't help feeling that there is an overuse of samples. I wonder if this is a lack of confidence in the underlying music by the artist. Sampling can be humourous and interesting initially but then becomes tiring and distracting on subsequent plays. I think there is much potential for music automatik. I will continue to look out for his future music.
