I read on the Basement Records page that the digital versions of these re-releases where all poor quality vinyl rips. Does that mean rips of these vinyl re-releases... in which case what was the source for these?I hope they're all pressed from the original stampers used for the various 12"s that they're lifted from. Can anyone who owns any of the series confirm this by looking at the run out groove to check and see if the original 12" catalog numbers are present on these too, crossed out or otherwise?Cheers

I have heard that the original master DATs were lost and that the Masters Series were cut from the vinyl releases. I received brand new copies of MS 1 & 6 recently. The vinyls were absolutely clean but I could already hear surface dust/crackle. Excellent tunes but not the best quality.

i have the complete series. the original 12" catalog number is not present. runout engraving Canvas EP 1 to 6: "BRSS DNB 001" to "BRSS DNB 006";"Beau"; "MPO"; "EURODISC". Sides in alphabetical order "A;B;C;D" Thats all.But every track sounds great. :)
