killer ep from the freestyle fellows.imo the sharpest and most skillfully work they did.most of the tracks are made by omid/od which perfectly underlines theincredible rhyme patterns and flows of each individual.sadly,i don't know why this record never came out in 98' originally.it fits perfectly in the "beneath the surface" era and also was recorded in those sessions i guess.the original cover is also an eyecatcher.its a painting of the local graffiti legend "mear one".the beats are dark,mystical,atmospheric and sometimes a bit disturbing to set the stage for this project.the track "level of difficulty" was the only 12" released in 1999 by celestial records/beneath the surface music.the track "we will never..." kinda reminds me of the earlier track "(we will not) tolerate" which was on the first and the second album.the track reflects all the horns used on "innercity griots".(brilliant idea)the track "once again" is a nice jazzy solo track by p.e.a.c.e.weight is about 160gr
