There's lot of ruins in Mesopotamia. But krivit's edit is not one of these.

Both edits are so soooo good. The Chaka Khan one basically turns it into a whole new track. Probably the most skillful edit I've ever heard, right up there with his version of Gary's Gang lets lovedance. The B-52's edit is very good as well, throwing 32 bars on the beginning of a track that has always been tricky to mix for me. Not anymore. Dope record start to finish

Say is the only vinyl that has the Chaka Khan Danny Krivit edit? They talk about the Roca Records release, but it doesn't sound the same, and I believe it is an uncredited re-edit?

Abandoned Electrical
It's just because you said "turns it into a whole new track". He didn't, he just put one version of a song after another. You can hear it at min1:30 ;-)So just wanted to mention that Victor Rosado version.

Fog
Just cause you understand how it got done doesn't mean it wasn't skillful. Give yourself some credit

Beardana
There wasn't much skillfulness involved for the Chaka Khan edit, the reason it sounds like a new track is because it is. It's the Victor Rosado version that was never officially released. The OG was cut in half and a part of the other version put in between with an echo fade out/some phasing to mask it :-) There exists an unofficial pressing of this version but the sound quality is poor so it's nice that this edit is out!
